February Events
🔵 BLUE MOUNTAINS VEGAN MARKET 🔵 Sunday Feb 9, 2025 • 9am - 3pm • The Hub, Springwood This event is very popular with visitors and stallholders alike! Held in Springwood, only 50 mins drive from Inner West early Sunday morning, this event attracts both Sydney-siders on a day trip, and vegans from throughout the Mountains. Local stalls are prioritised but all stalls are welcomed.
🩷 Chatswood LOCAL 🩷 Sunday, Feb 16 • 10am - 4pm • Chatswood Mall, Chatswood
Back at Chatswood, where there is an abundance of foot traffic, public transport just metres away, and parking stations 2-3 mins walk away. Yes, we're introducing new venues in the north, but we'll still come back to Chatswood every 2-3 months. Especially good for those who's food suit the East Asian population, but we also need variety to keep all our punters happy!
We may also have an event on Saturday Feb 2 - the Parramatta site is unavailable but we'll book something else in the next week if we can!
March Events
🧡 Parramatta LOCAL 🧡 Sunday, Mar 2 • 9am - 3pm • Centenary Park, Parramatta
After 2 months break (lots of people away in January and site being used for Chinese New Year in February), our return to Parramatta should be welcomed!

Welcome, it's great to see you here!
Vegan NSW is a charity organisation that promotes veganism and supports vegans.
We run The Vegan Directory and regular weekend events that help to showcase the incredible world of veganism, bring the vegan communities of NSW together in a safe, fun and delicious way, and centre the importance of being eco conscious and sustainable.
Are all of your products vegan or plant based?
Are you vegan with a cool service to offer?
Do you want to be part of something that is changing the face of veganism in NSW?
If yes, we want to hear from you!
We bring community together
The Vegan Directory is our newest offering to help keep the community connected with vegan businesses and organisations between events and during lockdowns
Sydney Vegan Market is our biggest monthly event, and runs on the third Sunday of every month at The Entertainment Quarter
SVM Nights is Sydney Vegan Market for the afternoon and after dark
Newcastle Vegan Market was our first regional event but is currently on hold
Alive Festival is a celebration of everything plant based on the Central Coast and runs twice a year in Gosford
We are vegan
All our events are 100% vegan!
We prioritise stalls that are 100% vegan all the time - wherever they trade, and in all their comms.
We are eco responsible
All single use service ware must be compostable and certified to the current version of AS 4736 - The Australian commercial compost standards in Australia. All other plastic is not permitted.
We are safe for all
Vegan NSW is committed to veganism, evidence-based information, social justice, and supporting the communities that engage with our events, the directory and social media. We want everyone to feel safe and included in our spaces!
We do everything we can (& ask you to do the same!) to support the physical safety of all of our stall holders, volunteers, staff and event attendees, and we make sure our events are welcoming for everyone by ensuring all of our venues are accessible, and by providing free activations including live music, talks and yoga classes.
We use inclusive language and avoid language, ideas and products that may cause offence or harm to others such as:
People of colour/black people/Aboriginal/First Nations or non-white people (racist or colonialist language)
People from the lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans & non-binary, intersex, queer or asexual communities (homophobic and transphobic language)
People with disability or chronic illness (ableism)
People in specific age groups (ageism)
People of different body sizes, appearance, or dress (fat, thin, fashion or other appearance shaming)
Please be open to feedback about this.
We are respectful
Vegan NSW supports open discussion of ideas and encourages people to make their own well-informed decisions. However, our mission is to be in a position to advocate for veganism, so we are careful about which debates we engage in or prioritise.
We ask you to behave in ways that support our vision by:
Ensuring that you engage in discussions that have the potential to turn to conflict with respectful dialogue
Not playing any graphic or violent video or audio content in plain view and ensuring there is a trigger warning located within your stall
We are product responsible
We are careful that the information and products sold at our events are safe, effective and responsible.
We are curated
We would love to invite all applicants to our events, however with a focus on ensuring that there is a wide range of products available you may not be successful the first time you apply. If you aren't successful the first time, please update your Profile with the next event date you would like to attend and we will be in touch.
We are outdoors
All of our weekend events are held in the great outdoors. Our attendees love sitting on the grass (weather permitting!) and lazing the day away surrounded by vegan heaven! Unless it is unsafe we will go ahead regardless of the weather.
So please ensure you are prepared! We have seen a marquee tumble across the site and we don't ever want to see that again, eeek! All stall holders need to bring all of their own equipment to safely and legally trade in an outdoor setting including marquee and 20kg weights for each leg, equipment, tables, displays and power leads.
We are social
We know that social media is a key driver for businesses and events, and we have worked hard to build a big and engaged social media following. Our combined audience across our channels is now over 60K! Oooft! To help promote your inclusion at our events we do one post for every approved stall holder, and one general post for The Vegan Directory each month. We also offer various social media opportunities for posts across our social media platforms.
GOOD LUCK WITH YOUR APPLICATION!
